Maximum traction also on rough surfaces can be reached by perfectly adjusting the sliding clutch (slipper). This LRP Tech Tip explains how the adjustment of the slipper works in detail!
The slipper is a sliding clutch that should protect the drive train from being overloaded. This clutch may slip through without transmitting the power, if it is set up faulty or worn. In this case, a readjustment or an exchange of the slipper pads is necessary.
Also if you build in a tuning motor, you should readjust the slipper, because the standard setup of the RTR models is adjusted to the serial motor.
In this detailed tech tip, you’ll get a “step by step” instruction with text description and numerous pictures. The setup and maintenance of the slipper can be done quickly and easily.
