Hot from the recent success of Team Durango at the recent Cactus Classic, our pro team driver Ryan Lutz has triumphed against a formidable field of world-class racers at the annual Psycho Nitro Blast event. The Unadilla track in Georgia was to host a truly epic battle across both nitro and electric 8th scale classes. Ryan was very excited to be attending the event after his multi-class successes for Team Durango during the last few months.
With the fourth and final round of the 2012 Holiday Brawl at OCRC Raceway in Huntington Beach in the books, Team Losi Racing driver Ryan Dunford takes the overall series win in both Pro 4 and Pro 2 and 2nd in 8th scale electric.
“The Series” was a 6 round series held at 6 different locations. Tracks both indoor and outdoor, hard packed to loamy style make “The Series” one of the hardest in the region to win.

This years Sweep U.K. Rugracers was all change in more ways than one.
This year saw a bigger and improved track size and layout of the tracks and pits which went down well with everyone involved. We retained 13.5 Turbo this year but with the new 17.5 Blinky class proving so popular at the B.R.C.A. Clubmnas Series this year it was decided to go with this new and exciting class which is proving so popular at club level, with lots of drivers dropping the Turbo powered motors for the more drivable 17.5′s.

Round 4 of this years’ championship was held at the Snetterton track, which was a regular venue at one time, but as of late not one we have been able to visit due to construction work. The weather forecast for the day was dry with rain due at about 3pm, at the drivers briefing it was decided that the format for the day would be with either 4 or 5 rounds of round by round qualifying the best 2 to count followed by 1 final.
Qualifying Round 1
Zak Finlay set the pace in round 1 almost 10 seconds ahead of Schumacher’s Mark Musgrove in second place, Damian Giddins was third fastest only half a second behind Mark, Arron Rose was fourth fastest in the round with a name from the past Scott Morton rounding out the top 5 in the 13.5 Stock class. In Super touring 10.5 it was Schumacher’s Chris Grainger back from his recent success at the World Championships who set the fastest time with a 24/309.37 the only other driver to do 24 laps was second place man James Hart third in the round was Chris Kerswell, Matt White was fourth and rounding out the top five was Stefan Chodzynski.
